ISF Joins GrACE Proposal

ISF is proud to join the GrACE (Grid related courses & conferences in African Countries and E-learning) proposal to the European Commission. GrACE is intends to foster scientific research collaboration between different regions of the world. It will help disseminate knowledge of grid computing technologies in African countries, encourage the development of local scientific communities and their research capacities, and explore synergies with the sharing of information between regional scientific centres.

ISF's own MANGO Net and AfricanGRID projects will gain significant momentum with this partnership. AfricanGRID proposes similar objectives, while MANGO Net will help provide locally sourced training and PC production.
